START Summit 2014

The START Summit 2014 attracted nearly 500 participants from all over Europe. Investors, startups and students had the unique opportunity to share their insights and benefit from mind-blowing speeches and constructive workshops.

Speakers including Morten Lund (Skype), Verena Delius (Fox & Sheep), Cristina Riesen (Evernote) and countless others participated in this year‘s event under the motto „Don’t Be Afraid to Fail” in order to help motivate our guests to dedicate themselves to their ideas. The highlights this year consisted of the diverse networking sessions, the speed pitching for startups in front of experienced investors and the START Award, a financial award of 10 000 Swiss Francs, which was presented to FASHWELL.

START Summit is developing into one of the leading entrepreneurship conferences in Europe due to the fact that we believe society is driven by entrepreneurship.

Plenary Sessions are great to get ideas and be awed, but in our opinion, the most effective way to learn, is applying your knowledge in practical situations. Our hands-on workshops offered the opportunity to work on real life case studies, ask questions about topics like online marketing, venture capital or how the perfect elevator pitch works to make it in the start up world.
